Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

反対する人も 賞賛する人も けなす人もいる
しかし 彼らを無視することは誰にも出来ない
何故なら、彼らは物事を変えたからだ
彼らは人間を前進させた
彼らはクレージーと言われるが 私たちは天才だと思う
自分が世界を変えられると本気で信じる人達こそが
本当に世界を変えているのだから
どんな自己啓発書よりも意義深い、っていうか、比べるのも失礼か。上に貼ったのはジョブズ本人のナレーションのもの。とてもいい。あと、日本語版のナレーションも、そもそもコピーも、ものすごくいい。もちろんアダプなんだけど、この英文原稿を目の前にした日本人のコピーライターは震えただろうなあ。「私たちは天才だと思う」部分の演技が、それこそ天才だと思う、くらいに上手。無人島に持っていく10本、には入るだろうなあ。
